How to Get Six Pack Abs in 30 Days

Some people say that they want to burn off their belly fat in order to get a flatter stomach. However, once they achieve this goal the goalposts move and the new aim is to get six pack abs in 30 days. The faster the better.

We like to think of having a six pack as being an indicator of ultimate health and fitness. We are told that women find six packs attractive , especially on Hollywood actors and models. But a six pack doesn't just look good, it is functional too. It can help your performance in exercise and sport because it means you have a strong core.

So how can you get six pack abs in 30 days?

Diet

The place to begin when it comes to getting a rippling six pack is by cleaning up your diet. You are going to want to eat enough to keep your metabolism going but little enough to cause the layer of fat above your stomach muscles to burn off.

Your abs are made of several types of muscle, but the one we are going to focus on is the rectus abdominis. This is the section of muscle on the front of your stomach that is used in order to prevent your body from bending backwards and to help you to lean forward.

Therefore to develop these muscles you need to carry out exercise that involves bending forwards. This includes standard sit ups and crunches.

The problem is that most people don't train this area properly. You need to really feel your rectus abdominis working, not bend from the hips. You don't really want overdeveloped hip flexors when trying to get a six pack!

The other main area of muscles you want to train is the transverse abdominis, which is the muscle that acts as a belt around your core. It hold in your stomach and supports your back, and most importantly for your reasons it forms part of your six pack.
