3 Tasty Infused Water Recipes That Help Weight Loss

Many people have been jumping on the trend of infusing water with the taste of fruit, veggies and herbs.

You can buy a infusion bottle or pitcher to do so, making it really easy to add flavor to your water that you know you should be drinking a lot of every day in order to speed up weight loss.

However, you can boost your weight loss rate even further by using the following specific infused water recipes.

Apple and Cinnamon

Known to be good for boosting your bodies fat burning ability, apples and cinnamon are tasty additions to your infused water.

If you use ice cold water by making the infusion the night prior to drinking it and putting it in the fridge, you will get the benefits of using cold water in your infusion. Benefits like boosting your metabolism as your body has to work to warm up the water in your digestive system.

Cold water is thought to help with boosting your energy levels too.

If you don't have a special infuser pitcher or bottle, just cut up some apples and leave them along with a cinnamon stick at the bottom of a refrigerated pitcher of water.

You can use filtered water or tap water. There is a school of thought that filtered water is better because impurities are removed. But if you don't have a water filter then tap water will be fine.

Berry and Lemon

Choose your favorite berries: blueberries, strawberries or raspberries are ideal and you may agree are delicious.

Almost every type of berry has lots of antioxidants in it and are a tasty way to get the benefits of fruit into your diet.

Blueberries and strawberries have been classified as “super-foods” which give you an amazing health boost.

You can change the flavor by adding slices of lemon to your infuser. Again, use filtered water if possible and refrigerate overnight.

You could add ice to your bottle to keep the water cold throughout the day.

Watermelon and Mint

Watermelon is almost 100% water in itself, but many people love the taste of it. Mint adds extra flavor in this mix.

Experiment with adding more or less mint for the level of kick that you desire.

Tips include using seedless watermelon and attempt to remove the skin on the slices before infusing.

This means the flavor can seep into the water more easily.

You should make sure, when possible, to use fresh and organic fruit and vegetables to avoid pesticides and other residues on the ingredients.

Experiment with adding other fruits, herbs and veggies to get a flavor you really love. Infusing will help you to get more water into your diet, especially when you love the taste.

And step one of attempting to lose weight is to drink more water! 8 glasses a day ideally.
