PhenMAX375 Diet Pills Review – Side Effects and Safety

There are quite a few diet pills available online that claim to be a good Phentermine alternative. In this PhenMAX375 review I look at one particular supplement that claims to replace Phentermine. I answer questions like: does it work? Is it safe? What are the side effects?

What is PhenMAX375?phenmax375 review

This is a diet pill that claims to burn off excess fat whilst boosting your mood and reducing your appetite. You take 2 pills a day, and with 60 pills in each bottle, each bottle will last a month.

The supplement is part of a range sold by Young You International, a US company that manufactures several other health supplements.

I was impressed that this supplement was manufactured in the USA in an FDA approved laboratory. A lot of diet pills are made in overseas factories where workers are paid very little, and the quality suffers as a result.

But not all of the information I gathered about PhenMAX375 was positive with some concern being expressed over the ingredients it contains.

What Ingredients does PhenMAX375 Contain?

The ingredients in PhenMAX375 are all natural. They are:

  • B-Phenylethylamine HCL- Also known as PEA, this boosts your brain function and mood. Unclear as to how this affects weight loss.
  • Garcinia Cambogia Extract – A natural extract from a tropical fruit that is popular in diet pills.
  • Green Tea – Provides a modest metabolism boost.
  • Guarana – A stimulant similar to caffeine that gives an energy boost.
  • L-Carnitine Fumarate – An amino acid that helps aid the transfer of food to energy in your body.
  • Caralluma Extract – A cactus extract that is thought to act as an apettite suppressant.

Unfortunately the main problem in this formula is Phenylethylamine. WebMD designates it as being “possibly unsafe” because it works in a similar way to amphetamine. Therefore it can have the same side effects such as:

  • Worsening of psychiatric issues (such as causing hallucinations and delusions)
  • Rapid heart rate
  • Insomnia
  • Dry mouth
  • Agitation and restlessness
  • Anxiety

I don't think this is necessarily a bad supplement. I would say that it is one to be used with a lot of caution, particularly if you have a mental illness such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia or bipolar disorder because it can have such severe consequences.

Does PhenMAX375 Work?

The evidence ( a 2.3 stars out of 5 on Amazon.com)  suggests that either PhenMAX375 isn't working for people or that the side effects are too bad to handle.

Here is what a few customers had to say about the product:

It doesn't work. It gives you jitters and no weight loss.

“Did not work for me…saw no change in my weight nor energy.

It just doesn't do what it claims to do. All I can say is that it was a waste of money.

Some customers were more direct with their review:

It is crap and I think it is a scam

One customers expressed concern about the 5 star reviews that have been left for this supplement. Buying reviews with free products is a common occurrence on Amazon sadly, but I cannot know for sure whether this is happening here.

“I noticed that most of the 5 star reviews are from people that got the product for free.

The Verdict

PhenMAX375 has the makings of a good product with the FDA approval of the manufacturing facility, natural ingredients and being made in the USA.

Unfortunately, due to poor reviews and the inclusion of the potentially dangerous ingredient PEA, I cannot judge this diet pill to be one of my top rated ones.

What I would recommend if you are looking for a Phentermine alternative that is both safe and legal is PhenQ. This well established supplement is also made in the USA in an FDA approved facility. It contains a carefully chosen selection of weight loss ingredients that work together to cause rapid weight loss.
